At O-Studio Hawke’s Bay we take a full circle approach to your wellness, recovery and relaxation. We specialise in the power of hydro (water) and contrast therapy, sauna, floatation and breathwork to help you reset, restore and improve your physical and mental well-being.
We start with why
O-Studio Hawke’s Bay owner Anna Lorck first experienced the life-changing benefits of water contrast therapy in Bali. Anna found the results so powerful that she wanted to ensure others could experience them back home in New Zealand.
During her wellness exploration, she met O-Studio’s Tim Bateman. Together they saw a real synergy in the pioneering space of wellness and recovery for New Zealanders along with a way to help bring her passion for water contrast therapy to life.
Tim, a former professional rugby player for the Crusaders and captain of the Māori All Blacks, whose personal experiences in elite sport and family struggles when his wife Laura was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis led him to discover the power of holistic well-being.
Alongside his wife Laura, he launched Cloud 9 Float Club in Christchurch after they both experienced the profound benefits of Flotation Therapy. This passion soon expanded into the vision for O-Studio - a space designed to give people access to the tools and techniques needed to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and balance.
O-Studio Hawke’s Bay is the first to feature bespoke communal hot and cold plunge pools. Anna has worked closely with design engineers and South Island manufacturers to produce state of the art water contrast therapy pools that deliver the ultimate experience and protocols for hot and cold hydrotherapy.
